What we collect and why
This site collects two kinds of data, and nothing else:
- Approximate location (country/region), from your IP address. When you visit, the server looks up your IP in a GeoIP database that we host ourselves. Your IP address is not sent to any third party. We use the result for two things only: to suggest a language on your first visit (never to force one; a language switcher is always visible), and to count which countries and regions interest is coming from. We log the country or region, not your IP address.
- Contact details you submit yourself. If you fill in the pilot form we store your name, email address, and whatever you choose to write about your data. We use it to reply to your request and for no other purpose. We do not add you to a newsletter, and we do not sell or share it.
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. Your language choice is remembered in your own browser, not on our servers.
Legal basis
Under the GDPR, the GeoIP lookup and aggregate regional counts rest on our legitimate interest in understanding where interest in a pre-launch product comes from (Art. 6(1)(f)); the lookup is momentary and only the country/region is retained. Processing of form submissions rests on your consent and on taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b)).
Retention
Form submissions are kept while your request is open and deleted, at the latest, twelve months after our last contact, unless a pilot agreement follows. Aggregate country counts contain no personal data and are kept indefinitely.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, export, or delete the data you submitted, or object to its processing. Email privacy@invariantify.ai and we will answer within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
